Ready to Complete Class 12 / Plus Two
For learners planning to earn their Senior Secondary qualification.
Flexible Senior Secondary education with structured academic guidance for your next step.

The NIOS Senior Secondary Course is equivalent to Class 12 / Plus Two. It is for learners who have passed Secondary or Class 10 from a recognised board and want a flexible way to continue.
Your subject choice should reflect both NIOS certification rules and any requirements of the college or course you hope to pursue next. Vizioni helps you think through that choice.
Important: NIOS requires a two-year gap from the year of passing Secondary for Senior Secondary certification. Examination options can differ before that gap is complete.
Read the current NIOS admission guidance (opens in a new tab) when planning your application.

NIOS Senior Secondary may be one route, depending on your previous examination, passed subjects and admission eligibility. Stream 2 and Transfer of Credit can be relevant in some cases, but each has its own conditions.
You must have passed Secondary from a recognised board and meet the minimum age requirement. NIOS also requires the prescribed two-year gap from the year of passing Secondary for Senior Secondary certification.
NIOS Senior Secondary certification is recognised for higher-study admission. Admission to a specific college or programme still depends on its own eligibility and subject requirements.
Stream 2 is an admission route for certain learners who appeared in a recognised board's public examination but did not clear it. Eligibility depends on the earlier examination, subject combination and current NIOS registration rules.
Transfer of Credit may allow eligible learners from a recognised board to carry qualifying subject credits into NIOS. Limits, subject matches and documentation requirements apply, so previous marks should be reviewed before applying.
There is no universal duration. Your Secondary pass year, admission route, subject selection and examination eligibility all affect timing. We do not promise a fixed or accelerated completion period.
